Untreated Hemorrhoids
Are blood clots outside the stool a symptom of hemorrhoids, if that person is not treated for years?
I saw my doc, he sent me to a gastrointestinal specialist Thursday. May have a colonoscopy. I do not know what a blood clot is supposed to look, but the blood in my stools are formed together and when I wipe occaisionally, a "clot" is there on paper. I bled from hemorrhoids for years, but these are new clots. I just hope I did nothing worse than hemorrhoids. I have pain while having a movement bowel. I may have an anal fissure, hemorrhoids instead. But as I said, the clots are new.
bleeding per rectum is not an easy or simple thing to ignore … u need to know where the blood comes, and that's what your GI specialist can tell you,,, hemmorrhoids by saying he is not a dangerous condition, but if he had a thrombosis give intense pain that u do not want to try, I suggest you consult your doctor again to rule out other causes of bleeding and clots with stool (which could be more severe than hemorrhoids ..) .. good Good luck! ..
