Painful Hemorrhoids Bleeding
painful, throbbing bleeding hemorrhoids?
Have a very, very painful internal hemorrhoids, bleeding and throbbing. Each saddle is so painful that I am in tears. I went to the dr this, he gave me a numbing med external, then he gave me an applicator hard plastic inside. The drugs are not something numbness and pain is so bad I can not use the hard plastic applicator. He me told to take a hot bath, which accounted for about 20 minutes. I am a server and on my feet all day without breaks and the plates are very heavy. Dr. said that would not aggravate it, but I feel like my insides are going out of my ass! I can feel it throbbing! I even tried suppositories OTC several times a day, but even those that are painful and does not seem to work. It got so bad this weekend, I called the dr, and he just told me to take a bath seat again. I took about 8 -10 advil a day, and that does not seem to even touch the pain. Suggestions? IN PAIN!
Sorry to hear that you are in pain. They have a surgery that can remove hemorrhoids. You seem to have a case pretty bad. Normally I would not suggest surgery, but I think you are at this point. Also, your doctor does not seem to help much. You should try another doctor and get a second opinion. Good luck. After ProcedureYou can have a lot of pain after surgery as the anus tightens and relaxes. You may be given medication to relieve pain. Do not stress, you will use stool softeners. Avoid stress during bowel movements or urination. Eat more fiber to facilitate defecation. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. Gradually resume your normal activities. Avoid lifting, pulling, or strenuous activity until your back has healed. Soaking in a hot bath can give you extra comfort. We can give you a container to give you "sitz baths (sitting 3-4 inches of warm water) once a day. You should have a recovery complete in about 2 weeks. Hemorrhoid surgery is the removal of swollen veins around the anus (hemorrhoids). Hemorrhoids may be inside or outside the skin around the rectum. Hemorrhoids can be surgically removed using a special stapler or sutures (stitches). You can be sedated and pain free (local or spinal anesthesia) or asleep and pain-free (General anesthesia). After the hemorrhoid is removed, you may have points that dissolve on their own packaging and gauze to reduce bleeding. Smaller hemorrhoids may not need surgery. These procedures are often performed in an outpatient clinic or your doctor's office, with little or no anesthesia. To treat your hemorrhoids, your doctor may: • Give you a chemical shot to reduce swelling • Place a rubber band around the hemorrhoid to cut off the blood supply to the hemorrhoid • Reduced with infrared light or laser, or freezing it in liquid nitrogen Your doctor may recommend removal when hemorrhoids treatment Non-surgical (such as a high fiber diet, laxatives, stool softener, suppositories, medications, warm baths) do not make your symptoms disappear. Typical symptoms are: • Persistent itching Anal • Pain • Bleeding • Blood clots (thrombosis of the hemorrhoids) • Infection risks for any surgery are: • Bleeding • Infection
Is it true that everyone has hemorrhoids? If so does everyone have painful hemorrhoids?
