What to do on internal hemorrhoids?
I've been struggling with constipation all courses of chemotherapy. I waited for hemorrhoids to appear today and when I had a bm I was slightly constipated and there was lots of blood. Now I had another bm and there was no blood until I stretched a lot. I go to the doctor on Tuesday, should I call and talk to my doctor earlier or is it to wait until Tuesday? There is no pain because it is internal. What my oncologist to a DRE or another doctor? I heard that he heals himself I will not need anything but will they come back a lot?
You should discuss any changes that you have with your oncologist ESPECIALLY when you are undergoing chemotherapy. Also, do not take a thing including vitamins, without discussing it with them too. Whereas Friday night should be good to wait until Tuesday to discuss with them, unless you start experience pain, dizziness, or if the amount of blood you are passing increases. You do not become anemic and possibly delay the chemo for some time. You should also feel free to call if you are concerned. Just be conscious of balancing the urgency of the situation and time of day. Physicians are accustomed to being awakened at night for emergencies and discuss routine during normal waking hours, even on their day off. It is part of the job and comes with the territory.
