Blood in my shit and a slight pain in the rectum?
Hey guys, I'm 15, almost 16 years old guy. I do a lot of lifting for football at present, and my diet is correct. I am 6'2 220 pounds. My father told me that it's just hemorrhoids and possibly a cut in my rectum, but I'm starting to stress and freak out how to get these hemorrhoids. I've had for the last week mainly on and outside. My water consumption was not too great, but I drank a bottle of water at lunch for school every days with water when I get home. I recently starting taking the Emergen-C packs daily vitamin supplement. (1 day) I wondering if it's part of my problem. Please help! Should I go to the doctor? My father told me not to worry too much and just drink plenty of water and increase my fiber intake. I've had them before in 8th grade i think, but only for a few days. Is this a serious illness? Or should I listen to my father? I do weight lifting twice a week for an hour after school.
