Hemorrhoids Ulcerative Colitis

Large amount of blood in stool?
I’ve noticed a large amount of blood in my stool when going to washroom over the past 3 or more days. It is not dark blood, rather bright red. *gross stuff ahead* The stool is covered in blood, as well as the water murky with blood – and when I wipe there is little no stool, only blood.
There is no pain, but its happening more than once – and the amount of blood is kind of worrying to me…
Any ideas on what this could be? (I’m aware of hemorrhoids, but they usually involve some discomfort, I have none… is it possibly an ulcer?)
Side note- I do have stomach problems (intestinal mainly), usually which included loose bowel movements though RECENTLY I have been having more normal stool. The closest diagnose the doctors have given me is ulcerative colitis – could it be that it has gotten worse?
Yes. If you have a provisional diagnosis of ulcerative colitis and are now having these new symptoms, you need to see your doctor ASAP and let them know. If you don’t the consequences may be a lot worse.
