Hemorrhoids Toilet Seat
Will a doughnut help……………….?
I’m not talking about pastries! I’m almost 16 weeks pregnant with baby #2, and this week it’s become increasingly uncomfortable to sit. The pressure on my tailbone is ridiculous, and I have to sit most of the day at work. Will one of those doughnut pillows help the problem? Or will it put too much pressure in the wrong areas? (I also have hemorrhoids, and the doc said sitting on a toilet seat will make the blood pool and make them worse. In addition, I have random flareups with my sciatic nerve, although I haven’t had one yet during this pregnancy.) Did anyone use a doughnut pillow during pregnancy, and did it help?
Lol, although the pastry kind are quite tasty, It probably wouldn’t help!!
Seriously though a donut may help with that! I have trouble sitting for too long as well, so I went and bought two REALLY soft pillows, (Down Feathers) and I sit on them. It has helped a fair bit with the pain.
Ask your dr or your OB at your next visit which is the best option for you, taking into consideration the Hemorrhoids as they may recommend something else!!!
