Hemorrhoids Surgery Pain
Does the return to work one week after hemorrhoid surgery affect my recovery?
I had my hemorrhoids removed yesterday and I am in great pain. I chose to take a week off work because I can not afford to miss more than that. I know the pain will to manage, I'm just curious what effect the return to work will have on my recovery. I am a nurses aide at a rehabilitation facility and I not waived.
lifting patients increases the stress on your surgical site and hurt like Hades! If you must return to work, take the next week relax and allow healing. Are you softening the stool? If not, you should take Ducolax much every day and drink fluids. When you return to work, get help lifting and turning patients. Good luck
