Hemorrhoids Sore Tailbone
bump just underneath tailbone?
I’ve had this irritating bump just beneath my tailbone at the upper tip of my asscrack. Sometimes it itches and other times when I lean back while I’m sitting, it gets sore. There’s no blood, no trouble walking or laying down, I don’t think it’s a hemorrhoid. It’s about the size of a pea. I do spend a lot of my day sitting down & I do think that it may be leaking mucus. What is this & how can I treat it? I’d rather not see a doctor because to be honest, my ass isn’t exactly in the condition to be presented.
It’s unlikely to be a hemmorhoid in that position. If it is draining there could be a cyst there. This is not that uncommon. Initially try warm tub soaks for 20 minutes twice a day. Sometimes this will draw out any infection and heal it. If this doesn’t significantly improve it after a week or if it continues to get worse despite the soaks see a doctor. It may have to be drained by the doctor but I expect the soaks are all you’ll need.
