Hemorrhoids Relief During Pregnancy

constipation relief during pregnancy….?

I’m 31 weeks along and lately I’ve been getting really bad constipation. It’s embarrassing, but I don’t wanna strain too long and risk getting hemorrhoids or something. I saw a list of natural laxatives online and saw olive oil as a natural laxative. Would it be safe to take a little olive oil? Or are there any other safe options for me?

I’ve been taking natural fiber supplements, but they take so long to work.

During my pregnancy i had constipation from time to time. My dr provided me with some lactulose soloution which is a stool softner. It isn’t strong stuff but does help to soften your stools so it is easier for you to go to the toilet without having to strain. It is perfectly safe for pregnant women to take. I would feel more comofortable going to the dr if i were you or have a word with your midwife so you can be sure the things you take are safe for you and your baby.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and hope you get some relief from constipation.
