Hemorrhoids On The Perineum
Perineal massage and hemorrhoids? Yuck, I know.?
Okay… so I am 33 weeks pregnant and therefore increasingly uncomfortable, as I’m sure most of you can relate to. My problem is this – I want to start doing perineal massage (which I can barely reach! so my husband gets the unfortunate task!) but I have a hemmorhoid right on my perineum – it is the only one I have and isn’t overly painful (yet) but obviously becomes more painful when it is touched. What to do? Any suggestions from you seasoned mums out there? This is my first baby and first hemmorhoid!!
I have one right there too. It’s painful, so I know what you are going through. What you could do is try getting a cream that will reduce it a little. The smaller you make it the less painful it is. The cream is fairly inexpensive if you buy it in an off brand. I think I payed less than $3 for mine. If it still gets tender than try massaging around it (if it’s not covering the whole thing) or try massaging only until it starts to get slightly uncomfortable.
Good luck and congrats!
