Hemorrhoids Long Term Effects

Could I have an internal hemorrhoid? Colon cancer? .?
Ok, in the past few months, I’ve started having a few problems. First, I’ve been unrelentlessly constipated (laxatives only give me short term diarrhea, but no long term effects). Eating oatmeal helps a little, but not enough. I get cramps and shooting pains in my chest, belly, sides, and lower back. I have searing gas pains. I get dizzy headaches, and am often nauseous. I feel fatigued, and unusually sleepy in the morning. And now, just recently, on the few occasions in which I CAN, in fact, poop, there’s blood. Today there was quite a bit.
I’m not expecting an official diagnosis here – I’m seeing a Dr. as soon as I get my Med. insurance from work this week – but are there any of you that might be knowledgable enough to know what this sounds like? Should I be a little worried, or very?

I forgot to ad my age, if that changes anything: I’m 23.
It sounds far more serious than a hemorrhoid. A hemorrhoid is simply a varicose vein in the rectum or on th anus. It doesn’t cause constipation, gas, bloating or abdominal discomfort.
The possibilities?
1. Cancer. That has all the symptoms you mmention.
2. Partial obstruction of the intestine. This can of course be caused by a tumor, benign or cancerous or a narrowing(stricture).
3. Hernia. This is a slippage of the intestine through the muscular wall of the abdomen. It can cause all the symptoms you m ention you mention except bleeding, though if you have a hernia and hemorrhoid, that would fit the picture.
The whole picture is that you need to see a doctor sooner than later and get a through workup. Make an appointment in the morning and make sure to tell them your symptoms so they expedite your appointment. Don’t wait for the insurance to make the appointment, as you will have the insurance sooner than the appointment.
And if the bleeding is increasing you may want to go into an emergency room to be seen. That would expedite getting the tests done.
Good luck and get seen SOON!
