Hemorrhoids Gastroenterologist
I have Blood in the stool…scared?
I’m 20 year old 5’9 210lbs.
For the past 3 weeks i have been seeing little bit of blood on the toilet paper when I wipe not on the stool and lots of gas also(Sorry) but last night it was on the diarrhea and in toilet with lots of bright red blood with blood clots, like a table spoon full or even more and no pain but kind of sore afterward.
Today i didn’t have any blood but was kind of constipated.
I went to my doctor said it was hemorrhoid but hes going make a appointment with a gastroenterologist to make sure.
can it be colon cancer or anal cancer. I’m really worried it could be really serious.
anything you guy can tell me.

Although there is always the possibility of something more serious, Hemorrhoids is a very likely answer. And the constipation around the same time makes it even more likely. You may have been constipated before, just not enough to notice, and straining can cause the hemorrhoids to protrude and bleed. I wouldn’t worry about it but be glad that the doctor is being thorough JUST IN CASE.
