hemorrhoids fiber
What happens when I eat lots of fiber and I'm still constipated?

I was not able to go number 2 for about 2 weeks now and I will when I force myself to. and I give a little teensy weensy of shit (sorry). I ate a lot oatmeal, papaya, wheat bread, but nothing seems to work. I fear I have hemorrhoids, as well, it seems to start to develop. What should I do to have a normal bowel movement (which is everyday for me)?

That's what I found Web MD … hope this helps! What causes constipation? Constipation is usually caused by a disorder of bowel function, rather than a structural problem. Common causes of constipation include: * Inadequate water intake. * The lack of fiber in the diet food. * A supply interruption or regular periodic travel. * Lack of activity or exercise or immobility. * Eating large amounts of dairy products. * Stress. * Resist the urge to have a bowel movement, which is sometimes the result of the pain of hemorrhoids. * The abuse of laxatives (stool softeners) which, over time, weaken the bowel muscles. * Hypothyroidism. * Neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis. * Drugs antacids containing calcium or aluminum. * Medicines (especially strong painkillers, such as narcotics, antidepressants or iron pills). * Depression. * Eating disorders. * Irritable Bowel Syndrome. * Pregnancy. * Age * Colon disorders What should I do if I am constipated? * Get regular … Go to the bathroom at the same time every morning. Make this morning, "habit" such colonic motor activity is highest at this time. * Drink two to four glasses of extra water per day (unless fluid restricted). Try warm liquids, especially in the morning. * Add fruits and vegetables to your diet. prunes in particular (buy baby food, I found it much easier to digest) * Relax-Because stress can interfere with relaxation of the entire body including the bowels, it is important use some type of relaxation technique each day. Satish Rao, MD, PhD, FRCP, professor of medicine and director of Neurogastroenterology and Motility gastrointestinal tract at the University of Iowa, notes that many patients can not grow properly because they are too busy and stressed. "They have too little time to take care of their bodies, "says Rao. * Talk to your doctor about medications, drugs and laxatives can help ease constipation, but they must be taken with caution and for short periods of time. Consult your doctor before taking any medication.
