Hemorrhoids-how to avoid the painful flair-ups during childbirth?
Ok sorry, I know stop reading graphic if you're going to say something like "gross" or "TMI" Serious replies only! I gave birth to my daughter two years ago in August, I've always had mild hemorrhoids but they are really badly during the pushing phase during childbirth. And they are probably part The most painful afterwords if my recovery. I am now pregnant and due in early September, my question is how can I prevent this horrible flair again. My dr told me to make sure I drink plenty of fluids and fiber to keep them down during pregnancy. Other suggestions for avoiding the painful recovery with them again?
Honestly, in addition to what your doctor has suggested. Try to avoid straining during bowel movements and without question, try keep your weight in the proposed range. I found that I put more weight during pregnancy, the worse the situation. Hemorrhoids can not be completely avoided, but you can prevent them from being totally support your postpartum recovery.
