Hemorrhoids during pregnancy?
I know that hemorrhoids are a normal symptom of pregnancy during your course of the second and third. I was lucky not to have them sooner, but I am now in my eighth month and I could be suffering from one? I think I had anal fissures before I was pregnant, but they always went away. I take a prescription iron 2x a day on top of a daily vitamin and I know it can be rough on your anal area and I have a bowel movement difficulty. Last night I had a noticeable amount of blood on the toilet paper, but then I tried to wipe it again and it was not there. There was more blood than I've ever had in my crack anal before I was pregnant. This morning, my anus is really bad. How do you know if you have a hemorrhoid? I am in no way itchy around, and I keep this area clean. Is there something I need to worry or should I ignore that this is not really a big problem and I prefer cope and not be anemic as I am.
Yeah I have not had morning sickness, but around 20 weeks I noticed there was blood every time I wiped after a bowel movement. I'm sure I got the big H, they are still inside. It is extrememly common (about half of all pregnancies) I have some discomfort right after occational movement, but no other time to date. My husband just teases me about them. I have some wipes that have nuts in them that (store brand preparation H wipes) you can get about 50 of $ 3 for them and they just help prevent bleeding, as they are more gentle on your sensitive parts. I do not use them after a saddle and with this pregnancy I be lucky if it is twice a week (TMI sorry) If your worried about them, you can ask your doctor, but most cases you case after the baby, then they pop after delivery, you soak em and they'll away.At this point, I do not worry, it's more annoying than anything else.
