Instead of Preparation H, which only works sometimes, you get these "Tucks Pads" You can take them on vacation with you and in general after 1 or 2 days, your pain should subside. I also recommend that you fold the Tucks pads in half and place it on the affected area and keep it there for the rest of the day. It feels weird yet cool at the same time, but it works.
