Hemorrhoids Blood Clot
Question about my hemorrhoids surgery …?
Yesterday (Sunday morning) I went to the Doc in the box with painful hemorrhoids incredibly. He gave me Novocaine located, made a small incision, and removing blood clots from him. He then said I'd better go in class the next day. Well today I am still in a lot of pain whenever the Norco dissipated, and had to stay home. In addition, hemorrhoids are still quite common to find (I do not see how great it was before). Is it normal for me to be still in pain over 24 hours later? I'm pretty comfortable when the drugs are kicking, and I'm not screaming in pain when they wear off, but it is certainly too painful to drive, walk across campus, or sit in class without the drugs. I was wondering if it sounds about right, and how long it will take before most of the pain has disappeared since I have enough of Norco for the rest of the day. Sweet thank you. He gave me a prescription ointment lidocaine, and I'm drinking tons of water and fiber to get the only reasons you said! 
Since he made an incision your hemorrhoids course it will be painful for a few days. It would be like any other section, except that it is in a location sensitive. It could be useful not walk or sit on it for a few days. Or you can get topical ointment that has a numbing agent in it to to the region. Another thing that will probably help is to take a fiber supplement like Metamucil to be sure that your stool comes out easily.
