Did my husband have a seizure?
My husband woke up at 4 am and wakes me up and said "I peed in bed!" This never happened before, ever. We also noticed that her pillow was wet. He also said that his jaw hurt. How something like this just suddenly happen? It was very embarrassing for him and we have no idea what caused it. It is 38 to a healthy little beyond the fact that he bleeds to go to the bathroom (did it for years and said his hemorrhoids). Furthermore he is healthy enough and paints for a living. I have seizures and I know that once or twice in my life it's the same thing, but it did not epilepsy! Can anyone give us advice or give any kind of explanation? I was diagnosed with epilepsy 17 years ago and have had many grand mal seizures, which is what kind of sound like he had. However, I do not think he really had one. A nightmore (if he remembers or not) can make you pee the bed, sweat, and lock your jaw. You certainly have been awakened if he had a seizure. In addition, most of the jaw would be wrong. When having a seizure every muscle and bone in your body stiffens and he would have felt all this with no memory anymore. Consult a doctor to be sure though.
