What should I do about chronic hemorrhoids?
I'm only 21, and the last couple of times I had a bowel movement, I had blood on the tissue paper. I'm assuming this is caused by hemorrhoids. What should I do?
Here are some helpful tips for you 1. Apply a hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone, or pads employment containing witch hazel or a topical agent anesthetic. 2. You must take at least eight glasses of water or nine per day. Also check the amount of fiber you eat and adjust accordingly. 3. Keep the anal area clean and dry. Take a bath or shower (the bath is much better) a day and clean the skin around your anus gently with warm water. Soap is not necessary and may aggravate the problem. You must dry the affected part of your body to avoid irritation. 4. Apply ice packs or cold compresses on the anus to reduce swelling. Make sure the ice is wet and slippery, not sticky. Insert hole in the ass like a normal suppository. 5. Seitz bath fits over the toilet. For this treatment, you will need a plastic container with hot water. You can get one in a medical supply store or some pharmacies. It is suggested that treatment for 15 minutes three times a day. Or you can just buy Epsom salts, and put them in a bath, then stay there for ten minutes to get relief hemroids, more if necessary. 6. Do no toilet paper dry cloth to wipe your ass. To help keep the anal area clean after a bowel movement, use moist towelettes and toilet paper or wet which contains no fragrance or alcohol. 7. If you have anal hole, you can also try to push them back gently. Once back in pain should disappear very quickly. 8. Exercise your body. Keep in mind that staying on the toilet for more than five minutes at a time aggravating your hemorrhoids. Take several short walks a day. 9.
