Diagnosis Hemorrhoids
In Part 1 of this series, the idea that there is an emotional side to deal with hemorrhoids was introduced. Pain emotional can be just as painful if not more, than the physical pain of hemorrhoids. These emotions can cause fear and anxiety are really beginning to affect what we can do and how we live our lives. Diagnosis by the doctor
You finally decide to go to the doctor. After examination, the doctor confirms that you have hemorrhoids. You are assured that is generally not a critical problem, it is a common condition, and there is a regime of treatment that should work more time.
Before leaving the doctor, you will find much information about your condition as you can. Ask things like:
- Is internal state or external?
- How long will it last?
- What is the best treatment for hemorrhoids?
- What causes hemorrhoids?
The answers to these questions and others will help you tackle the wave of emotions that will sweep over you when you leave the doctor. And it will happen. You may feel better knowing that you can apply for a name or status of your symptoms. But unless you are fully aware of what you're dealing with, you may be exceeded in your doubts and fears.
Phase 2 emotions (in no particular order)
- Publication of relief that could be followed by depression.
- Anger what happens to you or anger to the doctor. It is simply part of our nature to want to blame someone else.
- Perplexity on the unknown and lack of positive feedback based on what the doctor told you.
What to do
To face this wave of emotions, you need to do one or two of the following:
- Ask your doctor all the questions you can think of to remove as much doubt and fear in your mind that you can.
- Internet access when you get home and you start doing all the research you can about hemorrhoids and hemorrhoids treatment.
For these 2 Phase emotions you need to know to keep your emotions in check. You want to put yourself in the mindset that leads to healing.
