Hemorrhoids at 39 weeks of pregnancy?
I am 39 weeks and was so happy that I have not had a problem with hemorrhoids, because I heard they are common during pregnancy … but this morning I realized I have one. and it's awful hurts. I wonder if I am due any time now and I know it will get worse during childbirth? also, does it go on its own after birth, or will I get treatment? Thank you girls for taking the time to answer. It's getting worse … yesterday was not so bad I knew he was there, but did not bother me too much. Today, it hurts to sit! I am SOOO worried by providing … ughhh I feel like it's going to be huge push so hard. : (Very worried about it Thanks again guys ..
It will be very probably worsen during labor and yes, you have to treat them. The bad news is that now that you have, you always have. The good news is they are very easy to treat. Drink plenty of water, get plenty of fiber in your diet (even add something as Benefiber to your drinking water), and use Preparation H or Tucks pads directly on the hemorrhoids. I had hemorrhoids delivering my first baby, and they returned in force during my second pregnancy. But since I know how to treat them, they did not really bother me more.
